{"id":359,"date":"2026-09-16T08:12:41","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T08:12:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/manipalmarathon.in\/?page_id=359"},"modified":"2026-09-16T08:12:41","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T08:12:41","slug":"race-rules-timing-start-protocol","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/manipalmarathon.in\/index.php\/race-rules-timing-start-protocol\/","title":{"rendered":"Race Rules \u2013 Timing &amp; Start Protocol"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Manipal Marathon is a chip-timed event, and net time will be considered for race rankings and results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Start Times<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">42K (Full Marathon): 5:00 AM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">21K (Half Marathon): 5:30 AM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10K: 6:00 AM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5K: 6:20 AM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Start Gate Closure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start gates for each race category will close 15 minutes after the respective start time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants must cross the start line within this window to be eligible for official timing and rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Runners starting after gate closure may be allowed to run at the discretion of race officials, but will not be considered for rankings or awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each Runner is allowed to race in only one category. He or she will be disqualified if they are found to be racing in multiple categories<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Important Note: Please arrive at your start corral at least 20 minutes before your race start time to ensure smooth entry and accurate timing.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manipal Marathon is a chip-timed event, and net time will be considered for race rankings and results.
